The Fashion Revolution arose in response to the Rana Plaza accident in which 1,100 workers died, with the goal of promoting ethical and ecological practices through consumer advocacy and engagement while also demanding transparency and accountability within the fashion industry. The goal is to have a fair and safe fashion industry that aligns with the ethical and sustainable principles.

Fashion Revolution 2024

Fashion Revolution 2024 will mark ten years of Fashion Revolution and it will run till April 24th. The theme for Fashion Revolution Week 2024 is "How to be a Fashion Revolutionary". This year's theme invites the global community to share a decade of learning on what it means to be part of the revolution, including their achievements, advice and hopes for the future.

“I make sure that our design process adheres to moral and environmental values by sourcing elements responsibly, prioritizing environment friendly alternatives, and reducing waste through creative procedures. Our aim is to design clothes that not simply look good but also preserves the humans and the surroundings."

Can you tell us about any specific efforts you make to Reduce the Environmental Impact of your designs, such as sourcing sustainable materials or minimizing waste?

“At Engine, we're deeply committed to minimizing the environmental effect of our merchandise. We prioritize acquiring sustainable materials, the usage of eco-friendly fabric and providers who follow moral standards. Additionally, we actively seek to reduce waste throughout of our production system by using new strategies and practices together with pattern optimization, material recycling, and packaging waste reduction so our Customers can buy Eco-Friendly products from our in-stores and Online Clothing store. While our artistic vision guides our creative process, we continually modify our ideas to make sure that they meet our clients' demands and needs.
